Hydrogen fuel cell technology is becoming economically viable as a source of power for all types of applications and industries. With the global pressure and urgency to move towards a net zero emission model, hydrogen is the most feasible source of energy storage. VESSEL aims to be the main storage platform supporting this sustainable future.


Stronger Than Steel

One of the key advantages behind VESSEL’s approach to hydrogen storage is the micro-channel. Each channel acts as a single pressure tank capable of burst pressures in excess of 1200 Bar and has a tensile strength greater than steel.

VESSEL is a safer approach to high pressure storage since each micro-channel is self contained and able to distribute and contain pressure equally.

In the event of an accident, the hydrogen is only released from the channels that have been effected. This is in contrast to carbon fibre tanks which when punctured immediately release all of the compressed hydrogen instantly.
